My idea is to have my car start up by itself and drive off, i'll chase it down and it'll run me over. As it drives off It spits out the air freshener at me.
Start out with me packing (throw something into the bag-projectile) and walking out the door. Turn to a cartoon driving down a road. Come to camp. Cartoon person jumping up and down happy to be at camp. Write something about camp and what it means to me. The end.
I want to do silly arguments my husband and I have had in the past that we just laugh about now that seemed so serious at that moment. I want to be in my kitchen and open up the cabinets and all the plastic tuba ware fall onto my head and steam come from my head. Then In my thoughts I think about fighting him in the kitchen throwing dishware and all that. Kind of like a funny Mr. and Mrs. Smith scene. Realty is I am just standing there in my kitchen thinking about this whole scene. Then my husband comes home and says hi babe. Then I ask how was your day at work and smile at him.
Its going to start with me looking for my hat, then have it thrown from out of frame at me. I'll put it on my head and then it will try to get away so I'll hold it down. Then I'll have a backpack/school books and head into the building and it will show me heading through the building to the class. Once in the class I will walk "into" the blackboard, show me with my family/friends. Walk out of the blackboard then tip my hat.
I'm going to make a video of my 4-year old son doing his moves (that's what he calls dancing) in overdrive. While he's dancing all over the furniture, uglydolls are going to attack him, and he is going to shoot something (not sure what yet) at them so he can keep going. This will all be to Monster by Lady Gaga.
I'm going to show images representing the different roles I am able to play as a babysitter. I will incorporate drawing and stop motion together make my imagination reality. Objects will move themselves and there will be some flying involved... haha.
I would prefer to avoid using too much narrative in my final stop motion piece. I would like to work with more abstract imagery involving papercraft and/or claymation. I have it all sort of worked out in my head. Hard to describe in a blog post. It'll be cool though.
My idea is going to be about how my boyfriend and I met. It will take place at my high school and go through the story line of meeting (pan off into animation then I'll be floating on air), his girlfriend at the time coming up, i punch her (puppets) and say he will be mine someday, then him and i walking hand in hand towards the sunset (or somewhere romantic). I plan on using pixelation, white board animation, and puppets.
My idea is to show my life as a single mom and student. I want to show my son and all his energy. He really liked doing the pixilation. I also want to use claymation to show his creative process. I want to incorporate my art work and my son's artwork into the film. I feel like i have lots of ideas but having a hard time getting them going.
I was thinking of a more abstract way of showing my process of art making using white board and claymation. I'll make sure to tie in some personal aspects, and make it interesting.
My idea is to portray important moments in my life from high school up til now. I want to use pixilation, projectiles and either clamation or puppets. Not entirely sure bout all the details but it'll be cool
I am still in process of brainstorming. but i got two ideas but havent decided yet.
1. I want to use claymation or cartoon to describe a dream from my real life..like a midsummer night's dream/adventure. i havent decide what kind of story line i would use tho.
2. I have seen a 'drama' in this summer in a real life -telling how my friend met her boyfriend. all in a sudden a lot of guys wanted to date with her but she found one boy, totally out of no where. i just make little cute cartoon story use this plot.
I want to do something sort of beautiful, and I've seen stop motion done with origami folding before and it can look really graceful. I'd like to start with a process of folding a crane, and then progress with the crane flying using fishing wire. I may also choose to include some claymation aspects.
Music and sound are a big part of my life. I plan on taking the books, magazines, dvd's, and records that are in my room or around my place and turn them into audio level bars through stop motion. I'm also going to try to pull a few characters out of books and have them move. The characters will most likely be hand drawn. More ideas will come during the process I'm sure.
I'm still thinking about what I want to do but for now I have two ideas. Either going through a daily life of me, or doing a video of me straightening my hair. The idea of recreating my daily life would be presented on a white board and the straightening hair video would be a video and I was thinking of reversing the process. I'm not liking the ideas I've come up with so I'll prob post new ones as they come.
I am thinking about telling the story of a Bike Tour I did last sumner from San Diego to Seattle. It was for a non-profit called blood:water mission who helps provide clean water in Africa. I plan on using cartooning, projectiles, pixilation or claymation.
I'm thinking about doing an animation of me and one of my dogs. I want to start off with an image of him on white board and then have him jump out of the board and land on my bed as a stuffed animal and then he will be leading me on a wild-goose chase around the house......
I plan on doing a painting that looks like it is either painting itself or being painted by the sunlight or some other object. Then I'll make objects come to life off of the canvas.
I'm going to have a pokemon videogame style battle. Instead of regular pokemon I'm going to have "Teen-a-chu" aka Me and "Puberty-Puff". I'll be using plastic puppets for the two pokemon as well as clay added to give the plastic forms more range of movement to incorporate claymation. I'll have text on the bottom of the screen to narrate the action of the 8-bit them events. Projectile techniques will be used for the attacks used on the two pokemon.
Here's a the script: P is Puberty Puff and T is Teen-a-chu
P uses hormone increase. T gets chubby. T uses growth spurt and evens out. P uses Menarche! T gets cramps and acne! It's super effective. T uses personal hygiene to regains some health! P falls asleep. T goes through an awkward phase. T uses angry teen fit! P woke up! And is hurt by angst! P uses public parental exposure. T is paralyzed with embarrassment. T uses maturity. P loses strength greatly! P's hormonal unbalance wore off! T uses growing experience. P loses all strength! P Fainted! T evolved in to an Adult!
This idea will evolve over the weekend, but here are my thoughts thus far... I would like to use pixilation, green screen, white boards, and possibly puppets. I also saw this stop motion technique using post-it notes that might fit in some how.
For the piece of my life to highlight, I am deciding between some of my hobbies (triathlons or gardening/sustainability). I'll firm up the details this weekend and hopefully start working on it.

ReplyDeleteHow I got stuck in a glassier crevice or game night with the family. Either one will be done with: white board, claymation, projectiles, puppet.

ReplyDeleteTurn to a cartoon driving down a road.
Come to camp.
Cartoon person jumping up and down happy to be at camp.

The end.
